Lebanon Valley College students get the chance to play college sports at a high level while pursuing their intellectual and career goals, and enjoying other interests. While competing for conference championships and earning national rankings, our student-athletes have the flexibility to double major, study abroad, and pursue internships--opportunities that will inform their lives long after their playing careers end.

Local students at Bucknell University were honored recently.

Lebanon Valley College is a four year residential college and believes that an LVC education is the result of distinctively curricular and co-curricular experiences in class, on campus, and in the residence halls. Approximately 1,200 LVC students live in the residence halls on campus each year.

Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average were honored with the academic achievement.

More than 200 students conducted academic research in a wide-range of disciplines during the summer of 2014.

Union College is recognizing the Class of 2014 for their graduation from the College.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2013-14 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
